This week, as we noted previously, marked the 11 Year anniversary of the death of the beloved NY rapper from Harlem, Big L.
I didn't really know about L until his death, which is unfortunate because after finally listening to his critically acclaimed debut album from 1995, Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous, he was an immense loss for hip-hop. Lyrically gifted and charismatically witted, Big L...We Miss You
The Year is 1994
Place...Harlem, N.Y
His first single off of Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous
Second single
"If rap was a game, I'd be MVP..."
"If you aint gettin' no endz than you aint gettin no skin and if you don't got money, you won't scoop a honey..."
This right here is an infamous freestyle session he had with none other than Hov, back in 1998 on a radio station.
