Ever since the Broad Street Bully, Beanie Sigel, tried provoking Hov a couple months ago (still ongoing, smh) many have wondered and contemplated on whether or not he'd respond. Here Memphis Bleek, Hov's right hand man, says that will never happen which is what we all figured.
“Ain’t no time to look back. Where [Jay's] at, no time to look back. If Jay looks back, it’s the back of the G5 [jet], luggage. He’s gone. We don’t need that. Where’s the problem? When [all the Roc-A-Fella artists] signed their release paper and went their separate ways, it was no problem. Now it’s a problem. Why do you need to talk?"
Quite frankly, in my opinion I respected Beanie Sigel from day one and even when he released that diss track (Average Cat) towards Hov, because I felt that he had something to say and what better way to release that frustration than a bar for bar compilation of those inner feelings over the 1s and 2s. That respect ended however, when he joined a short-lived alliance with 50 Cent(who also was throwing shots at Hov smh) and continued releasing more diss tracks towards his former friend.
Many speculated that he was probably doing this for attention, a way to sign with G-Unit (which was denied by 50 himself), etc. Whatever his plan is/was, he lost alot of fans and respect as a result of it. Why Beanie?
